Shield
Move money into a privacy system and back out. Each option says what it hides and what it costs. Nothing here is anonymous: it names what stays public.
Shielded balance (Railgun)
ComingDeposit into a pool, then send or swap from it, so the link between where money came from and where it goes is hidden among other deposits. The first pool will be Railgun. A new deposit waits about an hour before it can move on, and can always go back to the address it came from. What it hides, what it costs and what it risks will be shown before you use it.
Private Send will use this. The design is in the docs; it needs the account work and a funded test first.
Zcash
Send to a shielded Zcash addressTest small firstSwap into ZEC with an address starting zs1 or u1. This app checks the whole address, so a typing mistake is caught. Whether the swap service accepts shielded addresses is not confirmed: send a small amount first. The swap you pay for stays public.Guided route through ZcashSwap into your own shielded address, wait, swap out. You do each step at the services; Intento adds up the cost and keeps the checklist and the timer.More rails will appear here as they are built. A rail that is not built is shown as coming, never simulated.
